Monday, January 2nd, 2012: Today is the Adult Baseball League inaugural draft. Each of the 4464 players who have declared themselves eligible brings something different to the table. Some will be drafted for their speed, others for their bat, glove or ability to lead a clubhouse. Wherever they end up, each man will have something to prove -- to his fans, his club, his manager and himself. In just a few months, Opening Day arrives and the Adult Baseball League starts in earnest!
