 | Bad News for Eureka, McLernon Injured
Wednesday, October 16th, 2013: The Eureka Hornets will lose the services of second baseman Gary McLernon after he sustained torn ankle ligaments while running the bases in today's game against the Maple Marauders. "I'll get through it," McLernon said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 6 weeks.
This year McLernon is hitting .260 with 17 home runs.
