 | Luce Guns Down Eureka Friday, October 4th, 2013: In an excellent mound performance, Charles Luce of the Cabo San Lucas Toreros whitewashed the Eureka Hornets 6-0 on a 2-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Eureka manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Luce did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Cabo San Lucas hurler rang up 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout win. This year Luce has fashioned a 16-10 mark, 3.12 ERA and pitched 219 innings.
