Monday, September 30th, 2013: When it came to hitting in the Thurman Munson League this season, none did it better than Dave Carlisle of the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. He surpassed all his peers with a .365 average to take the 2013 batting crown. The 28-year-old center fielder had 201 hits, including 46 doubles, 8 triples and no home runs. Carlisle participated in 142 games and also chipped in 56 RBIs and scored 119 times.
