He blanked the Jacksonville Jacks 8-0 on 4 hits and had no walks and 6 strikeouts. "You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," the Jacksonville skipper told reporters after the shutout loss to the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. "He just had a real deceiving fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes." This season Brooks has compiled a 21-9 mark, 3.62 ERA and made 36 starts. |   |
