 | Bandits Ware Booms 3 HRs Thursday, September 19th, 2013: Fans from Montreal are still buzzing after Montreal whipped the Capitalists 11-5 today at Labatt Bleue Park. Eric Ware smashed three home runs in the game. This is a feat that few players ever achieve and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance the first baseman bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, he was asked what it felt like to hit three home runs in one game. Ware answered, "To get one homer is special... two is great... three is just unbelievable!" Eric Ware hit a solo-shot off Cody Jackson in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Cody Jackson in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Colin David in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year Ware has hit .293 with 33 home runs, 103 RBIs and 102 runs scored. |   |
