 | League Punishes Pair for Fighting Wednesday, September 11th, 2013: The league commissioner's office had responded quickly to yesterday's major incident at Golden Gate Park involving the Earthquakes Haden Boyd and the Sasquatch Nolan Lyons. Both players have been given 4-game suspensions for violation of the league code of conduct. The suspensions will be effective immediately. For the year Boyd is batting .265 with 98 hits and 12 home runs. He has scored 50 times and driven in 62. In 30 starts this year Lyons has fashioned a 15-4 record and a 4.31 ERA. |   |
