Thursday, September 5th, 2013: A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Washington Capitalists today as they learned that first baseman Joseph McKee had suffered a setback in his recovery from a fractured wrist and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is 4 days.
Looking at his season stats, McKee has compiled a .324 batting average and a .403 on-base percentage, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 36 runs.
