 | Week's #1 Player: Minnesota's Blanchard Monday, August 26th, 2013: So far in his young career, Peter Blanchard has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Roberto Clemente League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Minnesota Berserkers first baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Hitting .402 to date, Blanchard has 41 home runs and 122 RBIs. He has played in 104 games. |   |
