 | Bandits-Mafia Fight Nets 8-Game Suspensions Sunday, August 25th, 2013: It was quite a row yesterday at Labatt Bleue Park. The Bandits Jordan Borlase and the Mafia Arthur Gardner backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Borlase and Gardner were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 8-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. In his stats this season, Borlase has posted a batting average of .323 with 150 hits in 465 at-bats, 14 home runs and 80 RBIs. He has also scored 78 runs, walked 64 times and compiled a .405 OBP. For the year Gardner has compiled a 9-10 record with a 4.89 ERA. |   |
