 | Star of the Week Picked in TML Monday, August 19th, 2013: 26-year-old Stephen Jackson sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Jackson made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .538 average, 14 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs and 3 RBI. Where the South Carolina Bombers left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Jackson certainly made his mark last week. For the year Jackson is batting .311 with 12 home runs. |   |
