 | League Suspends Capitalists Everett 3 Games Tuesday, August 13th, 2013: Chance Everett of the Washington Capitalists was suspended for 3 games today by the league office for "inappropriate actions" during a game against Carolina yesterday. He was ejected for arguing a call after he struck out on a called third strike. His manager had to physically restrain the Capitalists left fielder.
"You get caught up in the situation, emotions. No grudges, you move on," Everett said in the clubhouse today, while talking to reporters about the suspension.
So far on the season Everett is hitting .276 with 25 home runs, 77 RBIs and 81 runs scored. He has 127 hits and played in 118 games. | |
