 | Becker Hitless, Stopped by Mafia Tuesday, August 13th, 2013: The Montreal Bandits lost to the New York Mafia 8-0 today at Don Corleone Park, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Tom Becker's 22-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Becker, we would win the game," the Mafia manager explained after the game. "They really seemed to feed off of his streak, so we really wanted to make sure they had nothing to feed off of." Presently Becker is batting .413 and has collected 29 home runs, 102 RBIs, .466 OBP and scored 79 runs. |   |
