 | Becker Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Friday, August 9th, 2013: Tom Becker ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Labatt Bleue Park, when he collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats. "Hey, the streak is great. I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," was his comment after Montreal was beaten 8-7 by the Minnesota Berserkers. "The scoreboard tells the whole story." Tom Becker struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, walked in the 8th, grounded out in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Arnold Hall in the 11th. So far this year in 82 games Becker is hitting .415 with 28 home runs, 101 RBIs and 77 runs scored. |   |
