 | TML Player of the Week Selected Monday, August 5th, 2013: So far in his young career, Raśl Machado has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Thurman Munson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Jacksonville Jacks first baseman hit at a torrid .448 clip as he collected 13 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Machado has banged out 112 hits in 401 at-bats for a .279 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .326 pace and his totals also include 43 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |   |
