 | Brooks Gives Dallas Goose Eggs Monday, July 22nd, 2013: Wilfred Brooks of the Cabo San Lucas Toreros just toyed with the Dallas Texans today, blanking them 5-0. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 3-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and 2 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Brooks said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do." This season Brooks has compiled a 12-5 mark with a 4.12 ERA. |   |
