 | Super Week for Eureka's Bergeron! Monday, July 22nd, 2013: So far in his young career, Mike Bergeron has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Thurman Munson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Eureka Hornets right fielder hit at a torrid .536 clip as he collected 15 hits in 28 at-bats, no home runs, 8 RBIs and 11 runs scored. Bergeron is currently hitting at a .350 pace with 23 home runs, 80 RBIs and has scored 78 times. |   |
