 | RCL Star of the Week Announced Monday, July 15th, 2013: At the age of 27, Chris Barrett might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Carolina right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Barrett collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 16 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 3 games. So far in 2013 Barrett is batting .340 with 17 home runs, 59 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 122 hits in 359 at-bats and a .393 OBP. |   |
