 | Knight Torches Tornadoes for 5 Hits Saturday, July 13th, 2013: 5 hits in 5 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Dorian Knight of the San Diego Hops had a sensational 5-5 game against Kansas City at Debris Field. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 6-5 shellacking of the Tornadoes. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off... Right, skipper?" Dorian Knight singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Knight is batting .330 with 7 home runs. He has scored 30 runs and driven in 23. |   |
