 | So Cal, Kansas City Agree to Swap Friday, July 12th, 2013: The So Cal Republic addressed a concern today, coming to terms with the Kansas City Tornadoes on a trade that will send 30-year-old catcher Lloyd Bray, 32-year-old reliever Chip Sawyer and 22-year-old minor league reliever Ed Miller from the Republic to the Tornadoes in exchange for 17-year-old minor league center fielder Juan Carlos Ortíz and 26-year-old catcher Freddy Castillo. Currently Bray is batting .240 with 3 home runs, 25 RBIs and 32 runs scored. This year Castillo has 2 home runs and a .244 batting average. |   |
