"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Jesters said to the press corps after the game. Crawford agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Dennis Crawford grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
