Saturday, June 29th, 2013: The Mafia Earl Cook was injured colliding with a player at a base during today's game against the So Cal Republic. The team doctor expects the shortstop to miss 4-5 months with torn ankle ligaments. No roster changes were announced by team officials.
Currently Cook is hitting .278 and has collected 1 home run, 32 RBIs and scored 41 times, while playing in 77 games.
