 | Red-Hot Bat: Moore Collects Cycle Friday, June 21st, 2013: It was a special day for Dane Moore at The Brew Stade. Not only did Sasquatch beat the San Diego Hops 19-7, but the Seattle shortstop hit for the cycle, too. The 23-year-old Moore racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name mentioned in the record book. For the game he was 4-7 with 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored.
In the words of the San Diego manager, "He hit everything we threw. There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Moore said, "First pitch fastballs, that's what I was looking for today... I got some good looks."
Dane Moore hit a solo-shot off Elvis Sharp in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
On the year Moore has hit .314 with 10 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 54 runs. |   |
