Monday, June 3rd, 2013: The city of Maple is in mourning today for the owner of the Maple Marauders, Nolan Ryan. He passed away after a brief illness yesterday at a local hospital. Team spokesmen, speaking anonymously, told reporters that his son Nolan Ryan Jr. would take charge of running the team and would eventually be named the new owner. Inside sources said that the younger Ryan Jr. would be lenient in management style and charitable in financial matters.
