 | Dempsey Goes on Rampage Against Sasquatch Monday, May 20th, 2013: It was a sensational day at the plate for Curt Dempsey as he led the charge to a 10-8 win over the Sasquatch. The Montgomery shortstop was pure misery for the Seattle pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. The manager for the Sasquatch told BNN reporters after the game, "Dempsey put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Curt Dempsey singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kent Rose in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Dempsey has compiled a .341 batting average, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 33 runs. He has played in 44 games and scored 25 runs. |   |
