 | Player of the Week: Seattle's Frend Monday, May 13th, 2013: 24-year-old Steve Frend sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Frend made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .520 average, 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 RBI. Where the Seattle Sasquatch right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Frend certainly made his mark last week. Currently Frend has 11 home runs and a .409 batting average. |   |
