Sunday, May 5th, 2013: Medical officials from the Kansas City Tornadoes reported that the club's 27-year-old center fielder, Bob Watkins, suffered a sprained ankle in yesterday's matchup against the Washington Capitalists while making a defensive play. Watkins is expected to miss 4 weeks of action.
Watkins has collected 24 hits for the Tornadoes this year, 7 of them home runs. He has also netted 17 RBIs and scored 17 runs while batting .188.
