Tuesday, April 30th, 2013: Toreros center fielder Mark Bennett will be spending 8-9 months on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against Nottinghamshire running the bases and suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The Cabo San Lucas GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow.
Presently Bennett is batting .250 and has collected 4 home runs, 16 RBIs, .318 OBP and scored 15 runs.
